The name udumbara comes from Sanskrit, meaning an auspicious flower from the sky. Udumbara flowers are like tiny white tulips that grow on a white stem resembling a thread.

Flowers have no leaves or roots, and they grow on any support, the body of your car, the leaves of plants, window fences, metal objects, plastic ... . Udumbara flowers do not need water or soil to grow and there are no seeds to plant.

The 8th volume of Huilin's Phonetics and Interpretations, a Buddhist scripture says: "Udumbara is the product of disturbing and supernatural phenomena. It is a celestial flower that does not exist in the human world. If a Tatagatha or the King of the Golden Wheel appears in the human world this flower manifests itself because of its great virtues and blessings."

"The King of the Golden Wheel descends into the human world" is interpreted as "The Sacred King who spins the Wheel and corrects the Dharma in the world whose flowering of the flowers of Udumbara is a sign."

The flower is also reported in a mahayana Buddhism script, The Lotus Sutra: "A mythical flower blooming every three thousand years, heralding the arrival of the King of the Golden Wheel."

Udumbara flowers were found and reported before the birth of the Gautama Buddha, also called Shakyamuni Buddha or Buddha.

Based on Buddhist scriptures from the Buddha's teaching, it is thought that the udumbara flower heralds the return to the human world of an awakened being, or Buddha.

Buddhist legend predicts the arrival of a "Holy King who turns the wheel" correcting the Dharma (moral laws) in the world. The scriptures then explain that the king will accept any religious affiliation, offering salvation to all out of compassion.

One of the first appearances of udumbara flowers was discovered on a golden brass statue in 1997 at the Cheonggye-sa Temple In Seoul, South Korea.

Then they were found all over China and in many countries around the world.
