In China, the bat is a symbol of happiness and longevity "bat" is called "biān fú" and the term "fú" can mean "prosperity".

Welo opal from Ethiopia Welo Opal is mainly composed of silica and water. Generally white to translucent (sometimes yellowish to brown), it is characterized by its multiple color schemes (opalescence).
Welo Opal is often hydrophanous. Indeed, when it is immersed in water it can become completely translucent and then regain its initial appearance by drying (the drying process should not be accelerated; it can take several days / weeks).
The hardness of Welo Opals is between 5.5 and 6.5 on the Mohs scale and its density is 1.9 to 2.5. It is a stone that can easily scratch. It is preferable to avoid, among other things, thermal shocks, chemicals (soap, perfume ..) and prolonged exposure to the sun or a heat source (lamp, heating ..) in order to preserve its color lights.
